Berman Hebrew Academy Preschool is seeking an assistant teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates should be creative and flexible, and enjoy nurturing young children in a supportive classroom environment. They value working collaboratively with colleagues and are interested in professional growth.
Primary responsibilities will include: supervision of the children inside and outside, in the playground and grounds of the school; care of the children’s social, emotional and physical needs; care of the physical environment; classroom management; support of the curriculum; compliance with Maryland state licensing regulations; attendance at staff meetings and required training sessions, scheduled during and outside of normal working hours.
