About the Position

Berman Hebrew Academy seeks a team member to work in the Brett & Alana Fine Cafe. This person will work according to the academic calendar. The core hours of the position are from 9:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, (with shorter hours on Friday) but flexibility is a plus. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in a service/hospitality environment. Occasional evening and Sunday hours are also required. This is an Academic Year Hourly position for $22 per hour, plus benefits.

The opportunity includes: 

• Supervising Kashrut observance in the cafe.
• Serving high-quality food, drinks, and light fare to students, staff, and the local community.
• Processing computer and credit card payments.
• Keeping cafe areas clean and organized at all times.
• Fostering a strong culture of warmth, friendliness, and teamwork in the Cafe.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
