This Spring, 7th grade students will embark on a one-week learning adventure, focusing on a specific area of interest. During this time, students will learn through real-world experiences, guest speakers, hands-on learning, and travel opportunities.

In this group, we’ll explore team culture, marketing, and creating the fan experience that makes sports both exciting and lucrative. A career in sports can exist off the field.
AI/Machine Learning is a field of computer science that focuses on creating intelligent machines that can learn and improve from experience without being programmed. AI is in everything from your Alexa, the facial recognition technology on your phone, fraud detection and self-driving cars. In this minimester we’ll explore how AI works in the real world and how AI might impact your future. How can we use it to change the world? How might AI change us?
Get ready to walk the runway! In this minimester, you’ll explore the various aspects of the fashion industry including design, business, and technology. How are the latest trends in fashion influenced by cultural and social factors? Through hands-on activities and projects, you’ll gain experience in fashion design, merchandising, marketing, and will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the fashion industry in the future.
How do investigators solve crimes? What methods are tried and true, and which ones only work in the movies? This interactive minimester experience introduces you to the world of forensic science. Step into the role of a Crime Scene investigator as you learn how to process crime scenes by photographing, sketching, and collecting the evidence. You will get a chance to experience what crime scene investigation is truly like.
